In the past, players have been controlling Arathai from a third-person view, however, with the inclusion of a first-person perspective, players are able to get a much better idea of what is going on around them and where their attacks are landing, helping create a more realistic gaming experience.
While the inclusion of a first-person perspective is a bold move by ArenaNet, it is one that will certainly pay off, further immersing the player in the game and creating a greater sense of urgency and immersion when playing.
When compared to the previous Cast update, which revolved heavily around the mermaid characters, Nella and Sera, and introduced the player to three new characters, the latest update from Anyview represents a significant shift in tone and theme for the game.
